I'll soon be posting some contact numers of stores i visited in LA and some pics i wasnt able to post in the other site.

Can i ask you guys for help? i'm leaving for NY soon for hospital interviews and while i'll be focused on this important task (papogi and pa impress) i'll try to sneak in some toy hunting.

Any info on NY toy shops and Chicago Toyshops will be much appreciated.

I might also go to New Jersey and Conneticut and Massachussetts (pls pardon me if i spelled it wrong) as well as Michigan

Finally found time...

Here's one of the stores i visited in Glendale, California. Its a big comic book store called Legacy comics...

(IMG:http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d132/drslump69/IMG_4161.jpg)

Besides the usual current and old releases they have lots of vintage comics...

Nice pics Mike. Will be waiting for the pics of Frank and Son's. I took your advice and tried sending my sis and brother in law there. At first they could not find it :( but were able to go to industrial city and a couple of big toystores in the LA area. My sis was lucky enough to have met a couple of collectors at TRU and they pointed out where Frank and son's was and were even willing to take them there. :D However, since its only open on Wednesday's and Saturdays, my sis and bro could not go since they were leaving on sat am and found out about the place only on Thursday. :duh: The irony of it all is that its the approximately the same distance, according to my bro, from where they stayed as it is from valleverde to greenhills. Maybe next time ;)

Nothing like a good toy run to relieve the post-interview stress disorder

Great to see you back on the boards, Mike.

Hope all interviews go well.

Are these still $30 apiece? Or did you mean you got both for $30? If it's the latter - I'm gonna have to get those :)

Thanks for the info, Mike. I'll hold off and wait for a Christmas sale. $30 for one of those is a little on the high side for me. Pat is actually looking out for those for me as well. Here's hoping for a holiday offer to come around next month :)

Thanks, too, for the Thor Buster IM offer. I'll take a pass on your good offer for now since my CSC preorder might come through.
