Electronic Arts is pleased to announce that SUPERMAN RETURNS: THE VIDEOGAME has officially gone gold for the Xbox 360™, PlayStation® 2, Xbox®, Nintendo DS™ and GameBoy® Advance. The game will ship to retailers on Monday, November 20.

Amongst the various unlockables, there are three alternate costumes (a 'Pod Suit', a 'Golden Age Suit' and the default suit have been confirmed). These costumes will be accessed from the 'Fortress of Solitude' (apparently the menu screen). A 'Bizzaro' mode has also been confirmed. EA have recently stated that Superman's famed 'x-ray vision' will not be available to the player in this particular game.
