I would have never imagined myself collecting this line a few months back, but thanks and no thanks to a friend who influenced me and Evilbay. I'm starting and trying to backtrack and complete this line (emphasis on trying to).

This toyline is very very nicely done, superb likeness, very clean paint applications, color, sculpt, detail and countless accessories. This toyline was a ToyFare "toyline of the year" winner a few years back. Sad to say, it died a very premature death. Palisades going bankrupt decided to shut down operations on 2005. They were supposed to release Sesame Street figures that year.

I started this line just a few weeks back.

What better way to start my collection with a haul from Druid's Keep. Hoping to get my Ebay hauls soon.

Uncle Deadly variant and regular

Yam great line to collect. You finally have decided on what to collect since you've finished backtracking Dc Direct :)

Kinda off topic, but another casualty of Palisades' bankruptcy is the first ever 12" David Bowie as the Goblin King from Labyrinth. I really waited for that to be released, I guess it will never be.

Good thing NECA got the license, and he'll instead be made into a 7" action figure for the Cult Classics line I guess.

You may want to add him to your collectioin, since Labyrinth is a Jim Henson property

Great info as always and thanks for the suggestion Duane, but I'll just stick to the Muppets line. Trying to complete this line will be quite bloody :tears:

Yam - the guy you need to ask about this line is Ronan (Phulboss). He's the guy with a real big Muppet Show ensemble.

hi yam,

you can check out the muppet wiki for more info on these figures:
http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Muppet_Action_Figures

i already had quite a difficult time getting these figures when i started 3 years ago, so i can only imagine how difficult this little undertaking of yours is going to take (or not), hehe. good luck!

Goodluck naughty boy, but seeing as how you completed your DC Direct collection, I think you'll finish this line in no time.

Yam - I saw a couple of Muppet figures on this site:

http://toyzz.com/ (do a search for "muppet")

I have ordered once from them before and they seem like a reliable outfit.

yam has a more impressive muppet collection than he'd like to let us on... that's why he doesn't consider the muppet wiki site checklist to be comprehensive, hehe.

btw, there's a uk-based memorabilia store with considerably higher prices (i haven't heard much about them though):

http://www.starstore.com/acatalog/Starstor...ABLES_1198.html

they have some complete sets from series 4 if you're ready to shell out some serious sterling poundage. the series 6 set looks good, since statler and waldorf are going really high on ebay. series 5 has janice, hehe (the band members are the most difficult to find, imo). of course, they also have the swedish kitchen, the backstage set, as well as a few exclusives.

they're apparently based in a prominent uk shopping center... perhaps you can ask our uk-based friends for scouting help.

you'll still have to backtrack the first few waves (1 and 3 are the most difficult). series 3, particularly, was underproduced, and so was the last wave... so, good luck! i hope this helps!

series 5 is also available here:

http://www.newforcecomics.com/Merchant2/me...tegory_Code=MUP

i have no experience with the store whatsoever though.

here too (some singles at good prices though): http://www.amazingcomics.com/iStar.asp?a=2...uppet%20Show%22

the only buy/sell thread i can find is on muppetcentral:
http://forum.muppetcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=18

as a last resort, toywiz (you can also consider robbing a bank before buying here):
http://www.toywiz.com/paltoymupacf.html

toyglobe also has some listed, heehee:
http://www.toyglobe.com/MuppetShow.php
(i hope you're not desperate enough to consider buying from them)
