HOOOLLLLLLEEEEE macro! Ang ganda ganda GANDA! Who's made it! The sculpt is EXCELLENT! Really looks like Dale Keown's artwork! It's a shame Keown's no longer drawing comics....except for the upcoming Darkness/Pitt crossover. Real shame considering what a good artist this guy is!

Too early to tell, since the chains cover much of the articulation. My best bet would be it would come from either Diamond Select or McFarlane :D |

don't know if the source is legit, but it will be handled by newcomer shocker toyz and toybiz. The toy biz part was almost a giveaway because of the familiar sculpt and articulation of the pitt figure :D

After losing the Marvel license, Toybiz can give Graphitti a run for its money by concentrating on indie comic book heroes :D

Marvel Toys (formerly ToyBiz) will be releasing a set of figures based on several independent (indie) comic book titles. Included in the first series of this project are:
- Savage Dragon - Super-Patriot - Ripclaw - DieHard - Madman - Judge Dredd And a 10-inch Pitt buid-a-figure. (IMG:http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/1609/indiedarknessgw5.th.jpg) (IMG:http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/4434/indiejudgedreddlx3.th.jpg) Yes folks, it's gonna be the 90s again B) More info from Toyfare 115 or click here: http://www.wizarduniverse.com/magazine/toyfare/002938510.cfm |

This is terrific news! for sure there's gonna be a lot of criticism with the Hasbro MLs, once this line comes out! I love the line-up as well! it's just sad we won't be seeing any Wildstorm figures from this line. hehe! Wow! Pitt is a BAF figure? way cool! It'll be nice if he comes with the little brat! So the Darkness would be in series 2? Hope they come out with more from the top cow universe!

If Marvel Toys (ToyBiz) makes sure to produce high-quality figures, these may even resurrect interest in the comic books. I wonder if they'll come up with the same gimmicks the publishers employed on the comics back in the 90s - holofoil/chromium covers and exclusive card inserts

it'll be a nice touch if the Comic Book Heroes line would also come with a free comics like marvel legends! hehe! Well, just check out the new issue of Toyfare....they have picturs of Ripclaw, Diehard, etc! Pretty good, but I think the centerpiece is really the Pitt BAF figure!
I think toybiz mustv'e seen how popular these figures still are with the fans. I mean, customs of these heroes using ML bodies are selling like hotcakes over on ebay! |

hmmm, just check out Rob Liefeld's forum, and Shaft of Youngblood would be in wave 2, while Badrock will be the BAF for wave 3!
Die-hard figure from wave 1 will have a variant! hehe! Here we go again! toybiz talaga! |

Yup, "Robo-Die Hard" from issues 6-10, according to Liefeld. |

I'd love to get the Pitt and Judge Dredd figures. Too bad, Pitt is BAF. :) I hope this line will fluorish without the increase in price. Lots of good Indie characters to make.
