Borat

Highly recommended!!! I saw this film last Tuesday in an advance screening at Glorietta. This film brought the whole comedy genre into a new level. Dont miss it.

Casino Royale

I watched this film with low expectation.. i was surprised how good it was. I welcome Daniel Craig (Munich, Layer Cake) as the new James Bond! Yes, he's tough and lacks the "James Bond charm" we were used to from the other actors.. but it works for the new generation. Director Martin Campbell (Goldeneye) could be the next Lewis Gilbert (You Only Live Twice, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker). The only director who directed more than one Bond film.

By the way, the black antagonist in the beginning of the film during the chase scene through the construction site can play King T'Challa. If Marvel will make a Black Panther film.

That's great to here. I'll definitely be watching this. Craig is an interesting choice.

* I remember before Pierce Brosnan was selected, there were rumors that Eddie Murphy will be donning the bond suit and accent.

A wild thought. Casino Royale might have a twist. Daniel Craig will portray 007 just for this Bond Movie and he eventually will become a villain in a future Bond flick which is directly related to the story of Casino Royale, while the producers/directors look more a more fitting actor to play the role of 007. :rubchin: :D

If that will happen, It will be the first Bond film with a "fake" Bond in it.

Borat is great!!

If you want more Sacha Baron Cohen then watch Ali G in da House - same actor as in Borat except this time he's a white British wannabe - Hiphop / Gangsta. Expect to laugh more !

Just watched Ultimate Avengers The Movie and Ultimate Avengers 2, and they're not quite the Avengers I grew up with

Although, I'm quite happy that they used classic Iron Man armours for both movies(including War Machine for UA2)

I've yet to watch Superman Returns :D

Saw Casino Royale last week and I must say it is a very good movie. I went in with the usual expectations you'd associate with stereotypical Bond movies (irrelevant sexy scenes, trite and predicatble one-liners, etc.). But I'm very happy to note that those expectations were misplaced.

This film should be used as a "template" for future Bond movies. Do away with the cliches and the overuse of special effects. Tell a good story and have a good director at the helm.

I hope Daniel Craig gets to do a few more Bond films.
