Been quite busy the past few weeks, here are my holiday hauls, including my first few Christmas gifts.

MP-3 Starscream

I know, I know, I've said how I will not get it until they produce a more show accurate figure, but it's been a few months now and still no news about it. What we've recently heard, is that MP-5 is going to be Megatron. It's Megs' fault, he made me get Starscream.

And guess what I really like it, both the robot and jet modes are superb, the only problem of course is the scale and the colour.

Actually getting him reminded me of my first Decepticon jet, which I got as a birthday present, 21 years back, Dirge. It made me nostalgic how I once thought that G1 TF's already had a complex transformation, well now I think nothing will be as complex as MP-3

I now actually like it so much that I'd be willing to buy if they repaint the mold as Skywarp, Thundercracker and even Sunstorm

Transformers Alternators: Silverstreak

To me both the Masterpiece and Alternators / Binaltech line captured the essence of TF G1 characters dead on. They brought back the excitement first generated by the line 22 years ago. Not to mention they are more or less in scale with one another.

Forget about the box art, this for me is Blue Streak, the Autobot gunner. He may no longer be a Datsun Fairlady, but a Subaru Impreza is a good alternate mode.

I first eyed getting this, 2 years back when I received my Masterpiece Optimus Prime as a birthday gift. I've been holding back since then, I'm glad to have waited this long.


At this price, its a giveaway. He's also selling out fast, since the price slash.
