Some people take advantage of the SM "advantage" card. Since they hoard/ buy a lot of stuff their points increase exponentially and they accumulate a great deal points to be able to purchase a lot of stuff for free. Then they sell these items for twice or thrice the SRP on the market or boards when they actually got it for free due to those points.

Really? You can do that with the advantage card? I always thought that it was useless since they only give you a very small fraction of points for your purchases.

Well of course you have to spend a lot for a long time to get freebies. I bought some Star Wars stuff worth 2,500 or so and just paid 100 bucks.

But this is just the first time I claimed my points. Been using SM card for 7 years na.

For those who haven't gotten a Superman Returns DVD yet, I suggest you go over to the Astrovision Podium branch. I saw the 2-disc version at P650, and it included a limited edition superman DK book....a small version of course, but definitely worth the extra P50!

Hehe I think the price on the back of the DK book says it's got a $7.99 tag price. so it kinda balances the price.


I got the dvd and the features weren't that great IMHO, the "deleted scenes" didn't really show anything except for a few sentimental scenes. Then again I was expecting the scenes from Krypton using old footage that they dug up from the Donner movies that were originally supposed to come out in the first part of the movie, or at the very least, the scenes where(or why) Superman left Earth, but nope, nothing.


The movie video seemed off a bit too.. it isn't the kind of sharp and clarity I was expecting from an original DVD. But maybe it's just me.

These are priced at P450, I got the last 2 pcs from Rustan's Shangrila. One thing I notice is that it seems to be a new production. there's added articulation on the boots, something that the first production figure doesn't have. I'll verify my findings tonight!

You might have a hard time finding shocker, I went to TK megamall and Podium yesterday, and today went to Rustans Shang and they were all sold out! I did see a stealth venom yesterday, but only at TK. News really travels fast and I had no idea these figures would fly off that fast! haha! Gimme a call nalang if you still need one, I have some guys helping me locate for a friend also....
