Hmmm, those are probably how Michael Bay envisions the Cybertronians afhub/rubchin.gif

A cybertronian Starscream, let's wait in a few months for Skywarp biggrin.gif

...and thundercracker... and ghost starscream...and probably sunstorm wink.gif

...a few tweaks... and they will release ramjet, dirge and thrust afhub/duh.gif

Speaking of Sunstorm did they ever make a toy of him aside from the mini-Cybertron version?

Yup, a Sunstorm was made in the TF: Universe line. He was a recolor of the Armada Thrust mold (aka Squidhead) and came with a recolored street action minicon team.

Sunstorm might be released in the 6" Titanium line as well...a recolor of Thundercracker and Starscream afhub/duh.gif

Transformers classics wave 2 is out here- i couldnt resist getting jetfire (same packaging style as Optimus and Megatron) and Grimlock as well.

I also got the Megatron vs optimus prime 2 pack with Dvd- i just noticed why are these two bots smaller in scale compared to the TF classics?
To what specific era do they belong to?

Jujuman- 12-09-2006
BTW when will the target exclusive ultra magnus and skywarp figures, be released suppsedly??

Opened my jetfire and d@mn he's geat (hard to remove the jet pack though)- now i want to complete this line. It brings back a lot of Gen 1 nostalgia for me.

Ziggy Stardust- 12-09-2006
TF Classics is supposed to be re-imagined G1 bots, but I guess its turning out to be an era in itself biggrin.gif

Mike if you see a few more Grimlocks LMK biggrin.gif

The Prime Vs Megatron (tank) 2pack is from the TF Classics line. Both figures are smaller compared to the Prime and Megatron (nerf gun) versions. They are about the same size as Grimlock, Bumblebee, and other deluxes.

Better start collecting them Mike, they're a good line user posted image

I have now commited myself to TF classics! I just cant stop transforming jetfire and starscream back and forth... i noticed that all the bots have a clear crystal at the back of the head extending to the eyes- with good lighting it leads to a cool transparent eye effect. NIce. I guess i got lucky with grimlock but if i do see one i'll get you one Stephen - i think its 1 per case??? Is this true?

BTW thanks for the info on the two-pack prime and megs Stephen. I'm disappointed with Prime - his punching action makes his upper body swivel a lot- megs is ok although i didnt like the green and light brown paint finish. THe tank turret becomes his right hand weapon and it turns like a chopper's blade by pushing a button on the R arm. Still i think they're a bit small compared to the other characters.

Any update on the release of of the ultra magnus vs thundercracker (or is it skywarp?) two pack? Is it really a target exclusive?

Yup...Grimlock is shortpacked...though I'm not sure if he is one per case user posted image

Thanks in advance if you spot Grimlock for me user posted image

The Prime-Megatron Ultimate Battle pack is good...though I have heard their gimmicks are their problems.

The UltraMagnus-Skywarp two pack is a Target exclusive. It might be out soon...coz there was an auction for the UltraMagnus on the net (easy.net:

Stephen got you Grimlock already last one on the pegs!
Finally completed the TF Classics in one sweep. I thought Mirage was corny at first but now he's one of my favorites....Nothing beats Megatron's size and immense wingspan though plus the face nad head sculpt is dead on evil! Bumblebee lacks "ompph" in his body. Im happy over all with this line especially with Prime, Rodimus, Megs, Jetfire, and Starscream. Thanks guys for convincing me to collect TFs!

BTW Went to a Target and didnt see the Two pack yet....

Yup, the Classics line is a pretty good line. Not as expensive and there are just a limited number of figures. Megs is a very good toy once you get pass the neon stuff. Jetfire is one of the best figures.

Congrats in your purchases!

Mirage is indeed made of awesomeness. Glad you're liking the line, dude! The two-pack... maybe this month or sometime January, i'd guess, considering what Proto said. also, sample packaging has also surfaced, so it may not be long!
