Sony's PlayStation 3 made its highly anticipated debut in Japan to long lines on Saturday November 11, with local stores selling out their supplies of the video game console in a pattern that's expected to be repeated around the world.
PS3 will debut in the US, Friday November 17.

read on the newspaper, it was already released in japan, very very long line of kids, parents and teens waiting for the shops to open...
wow! Crazy! Man, If ever the action figure industry decides to announce toy release, would we wait wait in long lines at night just to be able to get our toys? hehe!
Man, hope they also make pirated games for PS3!

I think the game's separate from the $600 you pay for the 60 Gb version. It was something like $70 per game I think.
Guess who were first in line... the ones who were only there to make money...
