Buffy- 12-26-2006
Okay, here we go again! Remember a couple of days I got a XMC Colossus figure that has a really tight joint...which I twisted a broke off? well now I just bought a Face-off wolverine and his ankle has really REALLY loose joints...it can't even stand up! man, I buy SOOO few toybiz items these days...and these things still happens to me! Crap! Anybody have any bright ideas on how I should fix this? Do I just super glue everything??

I know what you mean Bro Buffy. Super Glue and a lot of bending and/ flexing the joint while it dries should do the trick. Can't think of anything else. Instead of going out with a bang, Toy biz seems to have decided to go out with a fizz. Sad that their last hurrah is leaving us collectors with such a bad taste in our mouths (so to speak). Hopefully things will be better with Hasbro.

Ahh... everybody encounters this. Not only on ML's but also those DC direct knee joints.
And yes superglue is the most basic and most effective method to tighten joints. Us customizers really have to know this part and we'll gladly share it to tou guys. smile.gif

From Jin Saotome:
What you need: Super Glue and water.

What you do: Apply a drop of super glue into the joint. Work it around so it's all inside there and so it doesn't instantly set up. Then pour, dip, or drip water into the joint. Move the joint while you're doing this. The super glue instantly crystallizes into a matte-clear substance and expands, filling the joint. Let it set for about 50 seconds and then test it. A couple crumbles of dried glue will come off and the rest will be tightly adhered to the sides of the joints. Blow into the joint to get any water out afterwards.
