congrats on the great hauls ham!

copied and pasted from ptk:

finally had the chance of opening my extra set and my toddler had a blast helping me out with the figures.

i'm pretty much happy how the figures were made and i reckon, way much better than ML 13 & 14...overall, i'd give them an 8 out of 10.

now on with the pictures:

jessica drew spider woman, capt. marvel & wasp

both females i got had some difficulty standing on their own. SW had some spotty paint apps, glue stucked mostly on her joints, and she does look wearing adult diapers :-X. my capt. marvel is bowlegged (for now) and hope to rectify it using boiling water...and wasp, i love her, very nice all around, except for the balancing problems.

beta ray bill, moon knight & thor buster iron man

you need to see these three up close to appreciate them. very good quality in recent months and reminds me of the giantman series. they all have the usual neck, shoulder, hip, ankle articulation common to ML figs and the best part, they stand perfectly once you get them out of the clam packaging. my only gripe, they got punch holes on their capes. i think they were originally intended to have some "action features". BRB comes with his hammer and moonknight, with his staff and nunchucks (partly hidden).

M.O.D.O.K.

imo, one of the best BAFs to be released. i was skeptical at first if the head would be a factor in balancing issues. the moment i snapped on the parts together, locked firmly, and all they fit perfectly! the wide base supported the BAF well and won't easily fall over. the smoke billowing under the hover craft was a nice touch! wink.gif

and after all these years toybiz, i'm satisfied how you ended the ML line. thanks for the great memories! that being said, i'll be expecting alot from you hasbro wink.gif

Modok looks awesome. I hope somebody sells an assembled one locally at a good price. I might just pick him up.

Thanks for the "loosed" pics, Lionheart.

ninocajayon- 12-03-2006
ML 15 is really one of the best waves Toybiz has released. They look awesome, Lionheart.

LIONHEART- 12-03-2006
thanks vader and ninocajayon! cool.gif

Toy Den- 12-03-2006
ML 15 looks promising. Btw... whats that black dot behind beta ray bill and moon knight?

Jujuman- 12-03-2006
Those are pegs for the stands...

BRB's cape is nice its soft and pliable but among the figures i've seen the one that is consistently painted well is Capt marvel.

Toy Den- 12-03-2006
Thats good about the capes bro... i really hated dr.strange's cape

thanks for posting those pictures, lionheart! i am holding you responsible for the excitable state my bladder suddenly found itself in.

just a weird question: just how articulated is modok? i'm hoping his rocket thrust doesn't look as cleveland brown in person...

and yes, i think jujuman nailed it: those holes are for the armed plastic stands. the faceoff kingpin also has one.

to answer your question, yes... M.O.D.O.K. has shoulder joint , elbow, leg joint, knee articulation...as well as arm and leg twists. did i fail to mention that his hover craft swivels 360 degrees? hands down, the star of ML series 15.

toyden, they look peg holes alright. but i should point out however, they don't come with the clear plastic stands similar to the sentinel wave. the only accessories you'll find is the black thingy to hold the cardboard dio.

phulboss- 12-07-2006
thanks for that! i was hoping they'd do modok with a semi-rotating head... or perhaps an alternater face ala man-e-faces, hehe.

i think toybiz assumed that we have enough of the clear plastic stands already, hehe. i don't even know anymore how many i have.

i hope we get this particular wave in soon.

no biggie ronan! afhub/afro.gif

I'm actually not familiar with modok, he looks freaky, hehe.

He's a classic, but useless, character, IMO afhub/kicking.gif
