Don't say that Grundy... Now I'm having second thoughts myself if I'll ever go customizing this line and scale...

I was really looking for a bike that would best fit Vigilante. And on my hunt today, I really took time to dig through all those scale vehicles at Walmart... And this seemed to be a near perfect match. A touch of old and new design to fit in the modern era...

It's a MAISTO 1:18 KAWASAKI Die-Cast Motorcycle


I put it side-by-side with my still-MOC Vigilante... Hmmm. I think this will pass for the scale...


So, I opened it up for a closer view...


Vigilante is a bit big for the bike, but at this point, I need to find a way to make him ride it. So, with him standing beside the bike can make the illusion of him fitting just fine ON the bike...

I consulted the animated bike...


I summoned my customizing skill to work again for this one. (It has been months since I last made one!). I am a bit rusty on the sides. Bumbling some straight paint apps. Though I just hid it from being caught in the picture, ..

And the FINISHED PRODUCT...

Making him sit huh? I'm currently thinking of doing the same with my Lobo custom.

I suggest you cut off both of his knees (cut the whole knee) and replace it with a knee joint that has a POA (JLU Batman would be your best bet because grey is the closest we have to white)

Pin, glue, Paint, treat for Paint-Rub and Voila! you're done!

if the bike wont fit in his crotch area (head out of the gutter please ), you could:

a) shave down the bike seat to accomodate Vigilante or
transplant leg ball-joints from other equally scaled toys (SHS, Bandai DICE or even old school GI Joes)

I've been thinking about it too. And one idea comes to my mind... The Barbie line (if I'm not mistaken), has this Pegasus looking animal in their line. My daughter used to have one, I just couldn't find it. That's a good place to start looking.
