Jenn got your msg and then i just read this thread. I wake up at 4am here in the US - cant be helped... i hope i get a variant case on my BBTS delivery (11/30) but the TBIM i have right now has your name on it. I'll try to get the rest of your wish list tom when i pass by TRU Bayview on the way to Penn station. I'll also check out the optimus primal 2 pack for Stephen.

BTW pls lmk if you want them mOC or loose the TBIM i got from TRU has a slice in the card probably bec someone wanted to steal the figure. i kept the receipt and i'll exchange it for a mint one. If i get a variant set (11/30) i'll unleash an extra TBIM one for my loose collection. ( might get those variants sets on ebay but i'm not too keen on it yet...)

I'm going to the TRU tom because they'll be having a delivery and i need to snag some variants. THe variants sets on ebay are going for 189$ (ser of 11 5 var 6 reg figs) or 120-130$ (set of 5 variants) which for me is too high.

Gist of my msg the TBIM (BTW Thanks to Peter, i hope its not a problem) is yours but its not MOC i'll get better one tom. i need two sets of ML 15 variants and reg. included. All of the figures are great and i need them for my loose Avengers collection.

Hi ken !! Weather's getting colder by the day. Yeah i also need that 13 inch supes and bats but i'll wait for the sale. They have lots of stocks here so its no prob.

I'm here in Albany NY- its a 2.5 hour drive from Manhattan to here. By Amtrak its the same - almost. I'm going to check out their TRU and Walmart here as well as their mall.

Anyway got a TBIM for Jen, Ken and an extra one for trade or other purposes.

Jen i also got you a Capt Marvel, i chose one with good paint jobs. Still a lot of BRB in TRU so i'll get them next time.

I visited the TRU on Times square on my way to Penn Station and it is a huge place the 1st floor houses stuffed toys and shirts while the second floor has action figs and dolls. The lower floor has cars and sports toys.

I was suprised to see that items there are priced 2.00 to 2.50$ higher than the usual prices in other TRUs. I imagine the real estate tax is taking a toll on them.

Anyway i found a lot of ML 14 there and even Marvel icons ser1, there were a couple of superhero showdown ser 2 but mostly Namor, GR, Magneto vs Colossus and reg Beast (no sign of Cyclops, Variant best and Juggernaut). No face off figures and no boxsets. No xmen classics 3 figures.

There were a lot of 13 inch supermen and batmen there but instead of being priced 30$ they were tagged at 33$

SW side i saw a lot of stormtrooper blasters- useful for cosplays and a lot of SW saga 6 and 7 figures. Republic gunships and Dagobah xwings lie abound and a full set of the SW commemorative tins at SRP. I'm still waiting for wave 8 and 9 and SW 30th anniv figs. No Endor ATAT which is sad. Upside is i saw 2 Millenium Falcons!! I need to consult Shaitan for a purchase that imperial shuttle is giving me headaches.

TF - Stephen the SRP for the TRU exclusive optimus primal vs megatron 2 pack is 40$. If i collected this line i could give a better account but AFAIK i saw only TF Classics 1 and cybertron figs were there. BUt they had a lot of the 2 packs and Dinobot and Ratraps

13 inchers abound.

Other toylines

Saw a lot of Naruto AF and new Ben 10 figs plus there were Mortal kombat figures by Jazzwares unfortunately i dont think Jazzwares has improved in quality.

Sorry i cant give an account on wrestling figures.

My biggest gripe is i havent been to any comic stores hopefully i can see some stores here in albany or in Chicago

Sarap bumili ng Icons and the 13" Supes & Bats. Malalaki lang and it will take up most of the luggage space.

The 12" DCSH Supes is a bit tempting, must resist though.

i saw Casino Royale yesterday and the movie theatres here have little or no patrons at all. But their movie screens are so wide and have fine resolution....

But i love them more for KB toystores!

If you ever go to any US mall there's a high chance they have a KB toystore where they carry the same stocks of TRU/walmart/target - except for the lack of their respective exclusives -and with smaller quantities in stock- but it doesnt matter since while most people flock to TRU stores like KB get ignored.

From KB I was able to get some Disney cars that havent been released like Radiator springs mcqueen, Buzz and Woody and Cruising mcqueen with Sally.

They have stocks of icons ser 1 and 2 i got a Grey hulk ICON variant at lower than SRP- 15$

They still have face off ser 1: mainly DD and the DD variant and a few hulk vs leader figs.

Xmen classics 3 figs were there but no bobby drake

They had a few of the HTF fantastic four classics figs mainly Ben and Reed and a few Johnny storms ser 1 and2 version ( flame on fiery version and the one flame snap ons)

I found some of the HTF superhero showdown figs at KB mainly a red elektra and the silver surfer but the elektra was damaged (no left hand). No cyclops booster pack fig though.

Another great store inside malls is the Spencer gift store. They house gifts ranging from funny to offensive. Shirts like "i'm not a gynecologist but i'll examine" you make me laugh. In Spencers they have MR light sabers, a nice selection of South park toys and Family guy toys (they even have Clevemire - see the episode where the had a nuclear holocaust). Miami vice toys, Scarface, some DC figs and NECA toys. Even saw a SOTA Johnny Cash figure in one of the pegs.

For your entertainment, FYE is another great store in malls. There i found some DC direct figs, older figures like GL ser 1 and 2 and even Elseworlds ser 1 and 2 were being sold at 10-11$ each while newer ones were pegged at 15$. They still had AR justice ser 4 at 12$ all complete but no AR ser 3,2,1. I found some statues there like the DST dark phoenix saga stats: colossus, storm, and wolverine which i know are sold out in the phils. They had a lot of 13 inch spawns and other Spawn figures.

Finally, I also went to a Target and found that they had new TF classics Mirage and Rodimus but i couldnt find a jet fire and grimlock. Still lots of the exclusives like JLU 6 pack and imperial shuttle.

Unfortunately the TRU here has the same stocks as with other TRUs ive been to...

BTW jut in case protoform hasnt read my post its 40$ for the primal megs 2 pack

pls. lmk what cars you need and i'll see what i can find. The KB in Crossgates mall in Albany still has one of radiator mcqueen and one more buzz and woody. I've spotted yellow ramones but they seem to be well stocked. Still need a dirttrack mcqueen and a lizzie for my friend as well as hamm
