Venom 1:1 Bust

Of all the head busts I own this one has the most detail..hands down. Another fine work by master sculptor Mike Hill..same guys who did the Alex Ross inspired 1:1 head busts.



Paint: perfect, sculpt: superb!! 5 out of 5..I'd actually give this baby a hundred!!!!



Imagine..this guy is one of spidey's enemies...if I were him I'd retire hehehe.



Check out the tongue..and the saliva..you gotta see this in person! Looks like it'll chomp on you any second.



Trully an amazing piece.



the eyes..again 5/5!!! I guess now I need the life size spidey head bust as well. Hmmmm. Maybe next time. got some other stuff on my mind.

The Incredible Hulk Statue Forum Exclusive Grey Edition statue.



Limited to only 200pcs and I cant believe I got a pretty low #..16! to think I ordered the statue from statue forum just recently. All I had to do was ask Galactus and D Rod. Plus I got lucky that someone canceled. hehehe

The sculpt is fantastic! Seth did a good job with this statue!

Yeah you wouldn't want this fellow to get angry! ;D



The base is cool as well! Not as detailed like DST's but I like it. Simple but it show's just how heavy and how destructive this monster is even when he's just standing..posed to destroy! HAHAHA obvious that I still have the Hulk fever.



Check out the massive feet and legs! The sculpt is really nice. Oh by the way FYI to those who dont know..another difference of this version to the Green on aside from the color of course is the left over pieces of his shirt still tucked in his tattered pants. A subtle change in sculpt but a change nonetheless. At least its not just the paint unlike the other Hulk statues with variants.



What are you're thoughts on the piece? If you ask me its a really good statue. After seeing this it quickly became the fourth in my top Hulks..

Sideshow PF (of course..the best kirby hulk)

Attakus (big in size, nice sculpt! downer on the bright paint but still ok..I have yet to get this one of course)

Bowen Classic (perfect classic representation of the Hulk)

Hard Hero (best 90's hulk)

DST (full of detail but the face is kinda cartoony for me..still very nice)

Bowen Shiflett (very muscular sculpt..scary face hehehe)

Just my opinion of course.

Oh yeah another let down for me is the size of the head..it's kinda small..but that's how Seth wanted to portray him..the master sculptor knew what he was doing so I'm good with it hehehe.



Here's what my current obsession looks like. the only one I'm lacking now is the Grey Classic Hulk,Attakus and Green HH. (my shiflett green has been shipped already)

Since I got the 1:1 Venom bust I think it's just perfect to display him with his nemesis..



Spiderman 1:1 Bust by Mike Hill (modern version) As you all probably know Mr. Hill also made an Alex Ross version of the web slinger but that's the classic version..Romita Style.

I wouldnt say this is better than the Romita style because both busts are cool in their own..but this is really impressive!
