Personally, since I was too young to obtain Captain Marvel's Mego figure way back in the 70's, this will be one of the Captain's best figures yet.

Hi Ziggy, how did you find issue 3 of the Trial series? Just read it last night and I'm officially hooked to Shazam. The series is building up into a classic epic adventure, ala Odyssey. Although I have to agree with you that it's too soon for Billy to be relegated into a supporting character. But oh well! This is the first series that got me clamoring for more since Red Son.

I don't know, call me biased, but I'm a fan of the Original Captain Marvel, sure I like Freddy but as his junior sidekick only.

I really hope DC knows what its doing, remember how they brought back Hal Jordan (another favourite of mine)

Haha... I think that will eventually come. Part of a comic character's life cycle. But I cannot say I'm looking forward to it soon. Being new to the Shazam "mythos," the current series is defining who Shazam is to me. Any trade paper you can recommend for me to back track?
